Kim Nalley in Larkspur: A Joyful Billie Holiday
A Joyful Billie Holiday runs for 90 minutes and features Kim Nalley, a San Francisco vocalist who mixes sass, soul, and smarts. Nalley created the show after playing young Billie Holiday in “Lady Day in Love,” aiming for artistic conversation rather than just imitation.
This performance happens at the historic Lark Theater in Larkspur on Sunday, April 26 at 3 p.m.. Marin Jazz presents the event, and proceeds help fund after-school theater programs in Marin County.
Tickets are $65 for general admission and $75 for VIP seating. If you’re a jazz fan, this one’s tough to pass up.
Marin City Flea Market Revives as a Community Hub

The market kicks off on Saturday, April 25 from 8 a.m.–2 p.m.. You’ll find arts, crafts, food, vintage goods, furniture, and a whole bunch of community vendors—plus, admission is free.

They’re focusing on themes of “defiant dissidence”. The exhibition unfolds among the garden grounds at 4370 Pine Flat Rd and is free to the public.
Visitors from Santa Rosa to Marin County can wander through creative conversations in a peaceful, outdoor setting near Healdsburg Plaza. If you’re into art that pushes boundaries, it’s worth the drive.
Dirty Cello in Napa: Blues-Rock Americana Night
In Napa Valley, cellist Rebecca Roudman and her group Dirty Cello will light up the stage with a wild mix of blues, rock, and Americana at the Native Sons of the Golden West on Friday, May 1 at 7 p.m.
