We’ll get into the details of his past run-ins, from Southern California all the way to the islands. The pattern here? It’s honestly unsettling.

A Pattern of Aggression Emerges

The stories about Nathaniel Radimak feel uncomfortably familiar. If you’ve ever driven in Marin County—Novato, Sausalito, wherever—you’ve probably seen drivers like him.

What started as a few disturbing reports in Los Angeles has now ended up in some serious legal trouble. It’s the kind of thing that makes you wonder how often this happens.

Nathaniel Radimak, 40, just got a seven-year prison sentence in Hawaii for a string of assaults. His history of road rage goes back years, first catching headlines in Los Angeles, and then again on Oahu.

The Los Angeles Episodes: A Troubling Precedent

Radimak’s run-ins with California law enforcement show just how bad things got. Before the California Highway Patrol arrested him in 2023, he’d already been convicted for two separate road rage incidents in Los Angeles—one in 2022, another in 2023.

In those Southern California cases, witnesses say Radimak threatened women with a pipe. He only served a fraction of a five-year sentence, getting out early because of jail overcrowding in Los Angeles County. That early release highlights a bigger problem that probably worries folks from Tiburon to Mill Valley.

Escalation to the Islands: Honolulu Confrontation

The pattern of aggression didn’t stop after his release. In May of the next year, Radimak got into trouble again—this time with the Honolulu Police Department.

This incident centered around an 18-year-old woman who was just trying to park her car on Halekauwila Street. Police say Radimak jumped out of his vehicle and assaulted not only the 18-year-old, but also a 35-year-old woman before taking off.

He now faces one count of unauthorized entry into a vehicle and two counts of third-degree assault in Hawaii. The charges highlight how serious this confrontation became.

A Change in Plea and a Significant Sentence

Radimak first pleaded not guilty in the Hawaii case. Earlier this year, though, he changed his plea to *no contest*.

That move isn’t quite the same as admitting guilt, but it does show he recognized the evidence stacked against him. On Thursday, a judge sentenced him to seven years in prison for the offenses in Hawaii.

Radimak’s attorney didn’t respond right away to requests for comment about the sentencing. That leaves a lot of open questions about Radimak’s mindset and what he plans to do next.

The original reporting on this case came from Salvador Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times’ breaking news team. It’s clear this wasn’t just another road rage story—it caught a lot of attention.
