The tragic event unfolded late Sunday afternoon when local dispatchers received a frantic 911 call reporting shots fired at approximately 5:03 p.m. Deputies from the Marin County Sheriff’s Office rushed to the Strawberry Circle residence, arriving within minutes to secure the area.

Upon arrival, law enforcement officers made contact with a witness who had managed to exit the home safely. After securing a strict perimeter around the house, deputies entered the premises and tragically discovered three lifeless bodies inside.

Both Ann and Kevin Mannix dedicated decades of their lives to public safety before retiring from active duty. Ann Mannix served a distinguished 27-year career with the San Francisco Police Department, ultimately achieving the rank of deputy chief.

Her husband, Kevin Mannix, also completed a 27-year tenure with the department, serving as a dedicated police sergeant. As detectives continue processing the complex crime scene, the identity of the third victim remains withheld pending further notification.
