Family Ties and Coaching Respect

Offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak expressed genuine appreciation for sharing a field with his sibling, Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak. This unique family dynamic adds an extra layer of intrigue to the cross-bay rivalry.

Quarterback Brock Purdy praised Klint Kubiak’s impressive football intellect, positive work ethic, and enduring influence on his own quarterback room. Meanwhile, tight end George Kittle affectionately referred to the Kubiak brothers as cookie monsters while commending Klint’s clarity as a coach.

Scouting the Raiders Star Players

Defensive coordinator Raheem Morris highlighted quarterback Kirk Cousins as an elite progression player who operates like a computer during weekly preparation. Offensive tackle Trent Williams acknowledged Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby as a tough, highly respected opponent who is exceptionally difficult to block on game day.

Morris also emphasized tight end Brock Bowers’ remarkable versatility, noting that his ability to line up anywhere creates significant matchup problems. Kittle echoed this sentiment, describing Bowers as a fantastic athlete who runs routes like a wide receiver and demands intense defensive focus.

Linebacker Fred Warner quickly recognized Bowers as one of the very best players in the league regardless of position. Additionally, Warner warned the defense of the dangerous speed and physical running style possessed by running back Mike Washington Jr.
