Reflecting on a Monumental NFL Trade

The Enduring Power of Brotherhood
Despite the abrupt business decisions that frequently alter professional sports rosters, Buckner noted that he harbors absolutely no ill will toward his former organization. Both athletes have continuously maintained a strong mutual respect across separate conferences over the many seasons since the trade occurred. Their ongoing connection truly demonstrates that personal brotherhoods in professional football often outlast temporary business moves.
