Tragic Discovery Along the Coast

The Initial 911 Response

A vigilant hiker dialed 911 at approximately 9:14 a.m. after spotting an unresponsive individual lying directly at the cliff’s base. Land and marine emergency crews were promptly dispatched to navigate the challenging, steep, and rugged environment.

Upon finally reaching the difficult location, emergency personnel quickly determined that Han had sadly passed away. Responders chose not to attempt resuscitation and instead focused on securing the area for a thorough recovery operation.

Investigation and Next Steps

Responders subsequently transferred the body to a secure facility to facilitate the ongoing law enforcement investigation. Officials from the U.S. Park Police and the county coroner division are jointly leading the probe into what happened.

A forensic autopsy and detailed toxicology testing are officially scheduled for early next week to determine the exact cause of death. Officials emphasized that the investigation remains active as authorities work diligently to piece together the tragic events.
