The dramatic sequence of events kicked off on July 29 when officers at a specialized Real Time Investigation Center spotted a suspicious Kia SUV entering San Francisco via the Bay Bridge. Plainclothes units and a specialized drone operator immediately initiated close surveillance on the vehicle as it navigated through city traffic.
While being closely monitored from above, the occupants of the SUV became increasingly erratic and desperate. The driver was involved in a hit-and-run incident and quickly swapped the vehicle’s license plates in an unsuccessful attempt to evade detection.

The three suspects were ultimately identified as Tiffany Riley, Steven Butcher, and Ndaya Green. Records revealed that all individuals carried outstanding felony warrants and now face a multitude of severe new charges.
